21:08. OK. Will purchase as my 10th Ferrari. Thanks. Will get on that and let my financial planner know
Glorious. When internal combustion is dead, cars will be a tech gadget like smart phones. No emotions. Hopefully we can keep them for weekend drives. I am talking for future next generations.
Wait a second...he reviewed a v12 Ferrari and didn’t give us a few revs to hear the beast?!?!?
WHY DOES THIS REMIND ME OF A JAGUAR XJ
Doug is more of a cupholder enthusiast
A V12 Ferrari is "shockingly thrilling to drive"? It would be shocking if it wasn't thrilling to drive.
My second favorite Ferrari
I never really liked the grin but the Roma’s proportions makes me quite like this actually.
$100 000. So 5 services and you’ve bought a second one 😂😂 Edit: Okay I take that back 19:00
Rather have the rapide for 50k less with roomier rear seats ....
Until you need a simple oil change.
I just like the car because of how well IMO that they were able to blend the styling of the 550 and 599 so well together
I agree with Jeremy Clarkson after Verbier: "I feel lucky to have spent so much time in it. Furthermore, I have the sense that I've driven a car that gets very close to motoring perfection". Great engine, great driving, great design...an absolutely great car and the last of its kind. Go for a 2008 or later - perfect!
Why these rims look so tiny lol
If I had the cash, I'd be all over it !!! 😬
I would buy one.. cool car value for money.
The plaque does not show "all" Ferrrari's world championship wins. At that time, they had won 14.
Doug is such a good reviewer he makes you forget you can’t afford it lol 😂
Wow looks brand new
Great review, as always, but I'll have to disagree with you (and just about everyone else it seems) regarding the styling. I like it. ps, you showed but didn't mention the 6 disc CD changer in the trunk. How about a little talk about "sticky buttons" on Italian machinery?
I remember hearing rick ross rap about this car back in the day...i liked them then still.do today lol Unnhhhhh
Doug, you missed the glow in the dark internal boot release Just sayin....
Also; funny how those F1 plaques somehow disappeared. 13 years and counting.
Is that a panel gap above the ignition key, or a broken steering column cover?
Me: Sees thumbnail and thinks "That's a beautiful Ferrari, I'll watch that video." Doug: "I know, I know, it's not one of the most beautiful modern Ferraris."
Ferrari has some nerve boasting of their F1 cars since we know now, that they cheated... but we're supposed to act like that never happened and that they're almost as good as Mercedes.
This car just had a service to its brakes and belts that cost more than I paid for most of the cars I've ever owned… (Three. I've paid over $20k for three vehicles. Out of ten vehicles I've bought.) Edit: I stand corrected - the service wasn't actually $20,000, it was "only" $18,403 - so a fourth vehicle was more expensive than this.
I have a 1971 Pinto (4 Banger)
I rarely get Doug's styling conclusions. Especially in this instance. This car looks really sporty but doesn't scream "OH I'M SO FAST SMALL BALLS OMFG" as bad as most fast cars - in fact, it could even lose the badging and red calipers to improve on that. In my book, classy will ALWAYS surpass sporty, especially if the experience is still reasonably sporty. Flashy sporty crazy looking cars will always have an aura of try-hard to me. Make it subtle but roar, and I'm impressed. Make it look classy and I'll salivate over it. If it's over the top, no matter the numbers, I'll assume you either have no other joys in life and/or should pay WAY more taxes than you probably do.
FORZA FERRARI
I like you Doug...I really do. But you’ve got to stop pronouncing “Grand Tour” like that. I can’t take it anymore. It’s only funny to you, I suspect. Think of this as an intervention...it’s out of love. Other than that, another great review of another great car. Thank you.
A better looking wheel would help tremendously.
Scag was my favorite on forza motorsport 1 haha 2006
FINALLY!!! Thank you, Doug!
Funny that Doug mentioned not having to look at the car when driving it. I said the same thing about the new M3 and M4, GD snout will always be ugly.
That center shifter is so odd
The 612 started growing on me a lot once I realized that the styling is inspired by a vintage Ferrari. The 1954 375MM Speciale made for Ingrid Bergman.
If my RAV 4 cost $300K back in 2011, I bet it would have lovely interior materials and would go 200mph. Plus it would be ultra reliable...
"isn't one if the most beautiful modern Ferrari's"..... Isn't it? I would beg to differ Doug..... Has aged very well. Will always be a timeless shape too.
15:26 Front: Aston Martin Back: Bentley
Imagine paying $100k for this car lol.
ashtray for kids. now that's italian car!
All this car needs is a rosary hanging on the mirror to be PEAK ITALIA
It just had a $ 20 000 service. I think that about what I spent on service in total for a 20 year carowner-life...
Way prettier than modern Ferraris
12:55 "Sir there are books in your weed compartment"
Doug: *The Ferrari 612 is a great bargain Ferrari!* My broke ass looking at the 612s for sale: *It's not bargain enough*
Don't like this thing, lol this is the Maserati Ghibli of Ferrari.
Doug the type of guy to call his first child a «entry-level»
C8 is more of a bargain
I agree, the styling has aged pretty well and softened with time. It's a good looking car. And it's a Ferrari!!
Looks like the Roma took a lot of styling cues from the 612
I find myself talking like Doug for the rest of the day after watching his videos. “ A gah-rrrrand touring car”...
Holding that shifter... looks like Doug in a doll house having a cup of coffee
Doug the type of guy to give COINCIDENTALLY outstanding reviews to HIS CUSTOMERS Cars.
Very cinematic thisss. This time..
I bet they don't boast about their recent F1 performance on their current range of cars!
"This engine is very different from the engine in your car I suspect." "And I took that personally"
I don't think it looks all that bad.
Looks better than just about all other Ferraris from that era IMO - but needs a color like dark blue og dark green and some other wheels. The rare manual gated shifter would also be a huge plus.
Ugly cars kinda "grow on me " after a decade or so....and then I begin to love them. That's NEVER gonna happen with this critter. Its irredeemably ugly. That being said....I hope one day to add the Scag's "differently ugly" father (the 400i ragtop from the 80s) to my Miami Vice theme collection . What can I say? You want what you want. 👀🏁
Holy smokes! This is my new favorite car.
doesnt the f12 have regular key start
looks like a Chevy Impala
It really bugs me that a car guy like Doug Demuro cant learn to properly pronounce the name of the car. SCAG-LEE- ETTI
Just looked at MPG sticker. 9/city 16/hwy I’ll have one please
We gonna talk about the GT3RS watering can? What am I missing?!
Don't buy a 12 cylinder anything. It is a maintenance nightmare. The 20K service will be yearly and it's a shitty car.
the wheels look like really cheap hubcaps.
shaddup.....
7:30 They've won the F1 World Constructors Championship a few more times than that.
6:10 It's a Ferrari. You control the volume with the pedal on the right.
That Ferrari gray is disgusting and NOTHING looks good in it. It doesn't matter which model it is, the styling can't make it look good!
MPG is not just for being frugal. It can tell you if you have other problems. This car had some cool lines that could have been made much nicer than being so bland. The wheels just fall.
Quite possibly the ugliest rims in Ferrari history. They look like wheel covers from the bargain bin at Wall-Mart to put over your steel rims.
Cool factor of 7? That's really pushing it, even for a Ferrari.
Doug, I’d love to see you test a Dino 246. Would be one of your all time greats.
Ferrari 612 sky yeti? What the hell Doug.. and still Porsche isn't pronounced Portia
The car is so beautiful 😍😍😍
I feel like this might be the first example of why Doug probably shouldn't review cars that he is also in a position to profit from the sale of, or at least he shouldn't post the review until after the car has sold.
17:47 I agree
16:36 I expected Noodle
when you're using a buttplug to shift your exotic car...
I'm glad its ugly so I'm not tempted to place a bid.
I think it looks absolutely beautiful
Congrats on 4M subs!
it's my favorite looking Ferrari handsdown from the 2000s and up.
Funny how sunny it can be at 00:36AM when Doug is in your area...
Good review Doug. Nice pick. 👍 Maybe someday you can take us on a tour of the Ferrari dealership you worked at. 🤔
I honestly love the way it looks
lol can u hear it? 3:24
Children can smoke? ;)
Very very different from my car... My car has a 4 cylinder engine that makes 64 horse and 98 pound-feet torque... And crapy plastic is the thing... It's a Suzuki Wagon R...
Why does this remind me of a Porsche 911 Carrera? Sally is that you?
you wave your hands more than a conductor
"Hand stitching"...really doug????......im pretty sure they're using a sewing machine.
Very obvious when he's reviewing someone's car and then when he's trying to sell someone's car haha
Current bid at 90G for a 15 year old (ugly) Ferrari is no "Bargain"
OK MY BID START WITH $150,00.are we ok ?
Remember when you could buy a beat up 80s ferrari for 10 grand around 2008? Good times
