DOUGSCORE CHART:
www.dougdemuro.com/dougscore
Quick correction at 8:20 with the seats - the lever on the backrest will move the seat forward so you can access the third row. The procedure shown at 5:40 lets you move the front seat forward so you can stow the second row. My mistake!
i was gonna say that lol
Review the Lucid Air. Its the future of American Luxury!
No Doug; NOT a mistake about 2nd row stow. They DO NOT Stow on the Pinnacle trim.
That button is to stow the seats
i dont know if anyone cares but yesterday I hacked my girlfriends Instagram account using Instaportal. You can find it by Googling for Instaportal account hack if you care
Gotta love that windsor built quality. Proudly built in windsor ontario. I know, I work for magna, we build the seats for this vehicle, in tecumseh ontario.
When I went to Naples Florida for vacation I saw these EVEYWHERE
7.4 sec 0-60mph... You Muricans wouldnt survive in Europe thats for sure. Standard 0-60mph for ICE vehicles here is still 10-11 seconds, its only thanks to the BEVs that we finally have performance in vehicles like USA have had for a decade now.
fun fact: the pacifica was first introduced as an suv!
Hyundai want to sell a new minivan that looks like the first oldsmoviles minivas but with leds XD
The umbrella will shoot forward and under the pedals on a hard brake. Bad safety design, how did you miss that Doug?
They should have kept making the Town and Country :c
"Chrysler invented the minivan" out of curiosity, would you call the volkswagen bus or the corvair greenbrier minivans?
Don’t be ridiculous , power shades? More things to go wrong. Simple is better, the cheaper Voyager we out sell the pinnacle by a long shot.
Do the Lucid Air PLEASE
Oldsmobile invented the minivan with the silhouette
Lookin' good Doug!!! And the van, forgot about that lol!!!
Didn't the Pacifica originally start off as a sort of "crossover?"
Maybe not "Ultra Pinnacle", but "Pinnacle+".
Doug is seasoned. How did he not notice the lever that flips the seat forward, even with a car seat, to get to the third row?
Me: it's 5am I should go to sleep Brain: bro Doug reviewed the most expensive minivan Me: ok
I don't even have kids or anything but the idea of having a van like this is awesome !
We're is the vaccum filter or pale ?
Can I just buy the pillows?
I hate the dial shifter. No way I would buy a car or van with that.
I have to admit that is kinda of a good deal
Doug seemed breathlessly impressed in describing this minivan limo.
In these times of $80 grand pickups , $51 doesn’t sound that bad for that level of equipment and features.
I agree, it looks the best
Fuck those shitty ass touch screens, my mom’s old Chevy Venture had a tube television that had a cd player in the center console and could receive analog signals. Miss me with this shit Chrysler, you ain’t luxury.
Just rented one of these for a week in CO. Really liked most everything about it except the abysmal power (especially for mountain driving) and the transmission SUCKED! A sport mode and/or paddle shifters would have been so much better. I had my hand on that transmission dial most of the time which gave me like ONE option for power gearing. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My personal car is a Ford Flex Ltd with ecoboost, so I'm spoiled in the power dept., but the offset there is that the Pacifica had much better fuel economy.
I would consider it if it wasn’t so unreliable 😪
They can hellcat the Durango, they can hellcat the TRX, they better hellcat this thing
People still buy dodge minivans? Suckers
That button is actually for the stow and go seats
Those moving front seat buttons aren’t for legroom, it’s to fold the middle seats into the floor. We have a 2017 Dodge GC and it’s a royal pain in the ass to have to move the seats up and forward because the electric motors work so damn slow. Then you have to move them back. That’s the only way to fold the seats down in the middle else you don’t have room.
I'm 12 and the back seats are two small for me and I'm tiny
i can only imagine scotty kilmers review of this vam
CONFIRMED...The 2nd row does NOT stow on the Pinnacle trim..."Luxury seats are too big" However, the cavities are still there and are touted as "extra storage"
Enough NOISE... Does the 2nd row seats stow or NOT???????
So basically Honda invented all the features and then everyone else stole them
Pinnacle is just a weird name
THEY DO MOT HAVE aWD
I would definitely put seat covers on all the seats so that they don’t get ruined
I have seen people get to the 3rd row easy
The button moving the front seats forward is for easy car seat installation. Not for leg room.
Do a 🦎 review !!!
Do a 🦎 review !!!
But Honda’s vacuum is longer. That’s how the made it.
do a review of the suv verison of the pacifica i have one and love it
I wish we could have seen the big panorama roof opened. It’s funny, because we got a lot of the 3rd row one, even on the test drive... 🤔😉😎👍
Im a single man in his 20s and god damn i would love to have this thing to go on endless roadtrips with my dog and play playstation at rest stops in between lolol
Very bad Doug score... This car is awsome!
Doug, the point of those buttons at ~6:00 to move the driver/front passenger seats is to make it easier for you to fold down the stow and go seats.
Kia carnival is the best looking
Every time you are speaking I have the sensation that you're spitting )))
Doug the reason they have the feature where you can press a button and move the seat forward is so you can fold the seats down easier
Hey Doug! Love these videos! We have the 2018 Pacifica Limited and it has almost all of the same features. We use the front seat buttons to get baby car seats in and out easier.:) we paid 20k for ours last year and it is the most luxurious car I’ve ever driven 🤩 we bought diamond car mats in leather and it looks fantastic!
Why would you put bratty messy kids in this beautiful vehicle??
I started this video at the same time I started eating my funny bones (a chocolate snack) and by the time the intro was over all my funny bones were gone 😫
Ah yes, there are two pillows so you can let your kids play pillow fight in your $51,000 minivan.
It looks like cars are way cheaper in US rather than Europe. My cousin bought a Ford Galaxy minivan two years ago and paid almost 50.000€ (56.000 USD current change) much smaller than the Pacifica and with a 2.0 4cyl diesel engine.
literally bought a 2020 Subaru BRZ Last Saturday, and now am watching Doug's Minivan extravaganzas, looking at all the features people with kids lust after
Doug, are you the long lost love child of Jay Leno ? 🤓
Chrysler=crap Expect repairs after like 50000 miles.
Doug, the buttons on the bottom that move the driver and passenger seats up are for better access to the stow&go storage in the floor behind those seats. That's why it only works when the sliding door is open because usually you're leaning into the van to access your stow&go. Often, the passenger and driver sit too far back for you to fully open the stow&go compartments. (From a long time Chrysler minivan owner)
Anything Chrysler is a piece of poop!
5:43 That is actually a real concern. Can that happen when you are in Drive and speeding down a freeway? That's grounds for a lawsuit if that ever happens!
Ah! Okay, the door has to be open. Whew! That would have been a show stopper.
I feel like Doug has a hard time reviewing vehicles beyond “quirks and features”. He kept saying “It’s a minivan” instead of doing a more fleshed out analysis of the minivan driving experience. Like, is it easy to park? How’s the passing power? What about visibility? What’s it like when it’s carrying a lot of weight? Instead he just said “It’s a minivan. It’s fine” My Ben Score on Doug’s review: Quirks and Features 9/10, Driving 2/10.
The Chrysler Pacific Brougham!
t's a shame they didn't show how to lower the seats in the second row. I saw this in another video.
Chrysler Pacifica Demon.
13:53 He left the button on “right.” Not on “both.”
There is a lever on the seat that should move the rear seats forward so you can enter
I respect minivans more than SUVs
Doug, the front seats move forward to allow Stow-n-Go of the 2nd row seats into the floor
Lovely !
@16:44 At the $50k pricepoint, I expect the van to yell at my kids for me.
💙💙💙
What about reviewing the 360-degree camera system? You really did no go in-depth on the screen controls, were you bored because it was a minivan? It was an interesting review but also disappointing.
This idiot is a FOOL.... mini vans are the BEST vehicles on the market!
That ugly thing doesn't come close to the TOWN & COUNTRY.... the most REGAL and CLASSIC van EVER!!!
HDMI port for DVD players? Do Americans not realize that you can plug your Android phone using HDMI to USB-C cable so you can mirror your phone? Especially if you use a Samsung phone.
FCA/Stellantis burned a billion dollars on the development of this product, LOL.
Doug stands in grocery store checkout lines and shouts "BE SURE TO CHECK OUT CARS AND BIDS"!

I'm sick and tired of Chrysler products getting a lower rating for "perceived reliability issues". Maybe in the past this was true, but Chrysler has come a long way and is just as reliable as Ford and GM. I would say more so.
Savagegeese just did a review of this minivan today, and he said that the reliability issues are real. Owners are taking these in for one thing or another constantly.
Minivans >>> Crossovers
With every year the R63 looks less and less ridiculous.
Better than the Metris
6:25 I thought you'd be flying in the void.
Yall know fabric softener sheets getting stuffed in them vacuums
why dont du shades roll down and clip to the bottom? it would allow for a larger better fit window shade instead of an awkward square in a odd shaped door window
Would have been cool to do driving impressions with it loaded up. Minivan drivers buy these to haul the family. Fill it with people and luggage and test power, handling, etc.
Hmm. Get the blackout edition and add in a hellcat engine, put a lift kit on this and ditch the middle row or the third row. Add some lighting kits and killer stereo. Oh and add a 12v mini fridge. Boom road trip mini van.
I can’t believe how stupid this guy is. He does not disappoint. He actually thought the button to move the front seats forward was to give more leg room and he later was told it was for access to folding the second row seats in the Stow N Go. As a former Dodge Caravan owner this feature is awesome as before I would have had to hold the power seat forward button to move the drivers seat forward to fold in the middle seats. This guy has to be faking his stupidity. He can’t really believe some of the stuff he says about cars. The only nice thing I can say about Doug is he does have nice legs. He reminds me of that guy from the movie Ernest goes to camp.
please review the Toyota ALPHARD its so expensive the most expensive type cost more than 100k if I'm not wrong
The color of the seats is so appetizing, and the fact that the van itself is red makes it look like a cake.
Laughing in Lexus LM
The button that moves the front seats up is so you can fold the middle seats into the floor not for more leg room
nah its so you can get to work on filling all the seats in the van ;)
This
I absolutely love my pacifica touring l plus. Best vehicle I've owned period as far as minivans/suv. I won't buy a suburban vs this ! Love it no regrets
At the six minute mark Doug is being a dope again like you can push that little button and push the driver seat forward with somebody in it don’t you think they thought of that? First of all the sliding door Has to be open. Dammit the 6:30 mark he corrected himself. Oops sorry
Nice to see the Lee Iacocca ideology is still somewhat around in Chrysler HQ. Like in the Chrysler New Yorker from the 80’s the Pacifica offers luxury at a more affordable cost for the average American.
Those are pretty nice seats considering little Johnny and Hannah are gonna stain the shit out of them with capri sun.
